Yes, I broke down and fell into the cupcake trap, realizing that sometimes cupcakes are better than cake. For a recent cocktail and hors d'oeuvres party of about twenty guests, cupcakes and cookies were my
solution to easy snacking for a mingling crowd. German Chocolate Cake had been on my mind, so I took this fabulous recipe developed by The Chopping Block and turned it into cupcakes. By taking what would have been the gooey coconut filling of the cake, I spooned the filling into the center of each cupcake before baking (bake cupcakes for 20 minutes), turning these treats into something to remember!
